The Lamb Dushenina is an age-old national Ukrainian dish, that as a matter of fact is meat braised with vegetables.The dish is cooked either in a deep casserole over stove, or in a clay pot in oven, that also depends on cooker’s wish.

The main ingredients of the dish are meat, vegetables, and spicery. In most recipes these components are dressed with flour, however not all variations of the dushenyna recipes contain flour. The dish stew with vegetables is especially tasty when cooked using fresh and young meat. It should be noted that there are many recipes of Dushenina.
