Smažený vepřový rízek

Smažený vepřový rízek is essentially the Czech version of a pork schnitzel.

To make Smažený vepřový rízek, cuts of pork are pounded until thin and even. They are then coated in breadcrumbs, flour, and eggs.

Each cut of breaded pork is lastly fried in vegetable oil or pork fat, until golden, with a crunchy exterior. Some versions of Smažený vepřový rízek include marinating the pork slices in lemon juice for around half an hour before being coated in breadcrumbs.
