Habichuelas Guisadas

Habichuelas Guisadas  is a dish Caribean cuisine (popular in Puerto Rico and Dominica). It is served with rice dishes, most commonly with Arroz Blanco. Dominican Habichuelas Guisadas is one of the components of the "Dominican flag" ( traditional lunch) and appears almost every day at the table at "la comida" (lunch) time.Each Dominican home may have its own version, with small changes in ingredients and seasonings, each proclaiming theirs "the best". And rice with stewed beans is one of the most common combinations on the Dominican table.
