Grietbana soep

Grietbana soep is a popular soup from the Creole cuisine in Suriname. The soup contains salted meat and possibly some dried fish or dried shrimp. The green bananas and cassava are made into balls and cooked in the soup. This soup with ocher (okra) or another vegetbales will tast perfect! The tom tom in it (balls of plantain) completes the taste experience. There is also the variant of the soup without coconut milk.
