Durban chicken curry

Durban chicken curry is one of Durban's prime luxurious pleasures. Dissimilar to milder or spicy East Indian chicken dishes. The dish doesn’t uese yogurt , coconut milk and other ingredients of an Indian or Thai syle curry.

Durban (Zulu: eThekwini, from itheku meaning ‘city’), nicknamed Durbs, is the third most populous city in South Africa after Johannesburg and Cape Town and the largest city in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal, and in addition to some beautiful beaches, it is known for its Indian style curries Inspired by  chicken curry.

Some master chief cooks substitute the chicken with beef or pork if you prefer, or add a tin of kidney beans for a larger meal. This comforting  Durban curry  goes very well with basmati rice and  bread or filled in a bunny chow.
